RWG Mobile Wales
A UK SIM-only brand, designed end to end: live website, account dashboard and mobile app.
I'm Muhammad Ammad — turning complex problems into clean, intuitive interfaces. I build design systems that scale and products that feel effortless.

Website, account dashboard and mobile app for a Welsh SIM-only brand, all built on a design system I created.

Plans first: every plan visible on the homepage, with price and buy action on the right of each card.

A destination picker up top, then simple setup steps for iPhone and Android.

Balance, subscriptions and new deals on one screen after login.

The same system in the app: home, menu and account screens.

Order, top-up and payment emails that match the website and app.

Homepage redesigns, a customer dashboard, app onboarding and lifecycle emails for a UK pay-as-you-go brand.

Compare the live homepage with two redesign concepts I designed.

Each service gets its own page: mobile top-up, international calls and gift cards.

Plan cards with clear savings, plus an app download block.

Top-ups, bundles, calling rates and recent activity in one view.

Photo-led onboarding, then a fast path to the first top-up.

Welcome, verification and receipt emails in the same visual language.

A bolder, Gen-Z homepage for a UK pay-as-you-go brand, explored in two versions.

Switch between the two homepage versions I designed.

A data slider finds the right plan; quick amounts make top-up one tap.

Benefits, social proof and the app, in the same electric green.

Dark base, two greens, two typefaces.
Typefaces: Space Grotesk and Poppins.
A UI audit and homepage redesign for an Arabic-only community platform where people join communities, post, vote and discuss.

The right features, but hard to use. The current product feels unfinished and tiring.

I reviewed the live website and app screen by screen and grouped the problems into seven findings.
Thick and thin outlines, filled and outline styles mixed, and icons that don't match their meaning.
The search field shows the Majlis logo instead of a magnifier, so it doesn't read as search.
Collapsing the sidebar removes custom feeds, drafts and my communities completely.
The latest posts panel scrolls inside itself, creating two scrollbars and trapping the mouse wheel.
Wrong button label, a Post button that works when empty, and the bottom menu visible while writing.
Almost all text is dark and bold, so nothing stands out and every line has to be read.
No clear focus, posts start low on the page, and mixed container styles and spacing.
From audit to redesign in five steps, guided by five principles.
Arabic type with a clear hierarchy, a calm green palette and one icon language.
Typeface: Noto Sans Arabic · Regular, Semibold, Bold. Icons: one outline set, one stroke weight, filled only when active.
A calm homepage that puts posts first. Every change answers a finding.

The same system on the app homepage, from top to bottom.

Switch between the old and new website, and compare the app side by side.

If selected for the role, the rest of the product follows the same system.
A wellness and beauty booking platform. I owned its UI/UX end to end at Nimbus Consulting.

Search by service, location and date sits at the top; below it, featured merchants, favourites and popular experts.

Photo-led cards make services easy to compare at a glance.

Each salon gets a profile with services and team; booking is a calendar and time slots on one screen.

The same flow, designed mobile-first.

I’m Muhammad Ammad, a UI/UX designer with more than eight years of experience across the UK, USA, UAE and Pakistan. I started out in graphic and frontend work, moved into UX, and now spend most of my time on design systems and product UI.
Lately my focus has been UK mobile brands (MVNOs) like Talk Home Mobile, Now Mobile and RWG Mobile Wales. Telecom sites look simple but carry a lot of detail: plans, roaming, top-ups, terms. That’s where a clear brief and a solid system pay off.
I don’t stop at Figma. I can build production-ready frontend components myself, and I use AI tools to speed up the repetitive parts of design while reviewing every output by hand.
